This program utilizes the services of the Pilatus PC-12 aircraft, manufactured by the Pilatus Aircraft Company in Switzerland. Integrating a single turboprop engine into an aerodynamically advanced airframe, the Pilatus PC-12 combines excellent economy, reliability, and versatility with the inherent safety of this type of aircraft. Its ability to take off from short remote bush airstrips, coupled with a high cruising speed at high altitudes, makes the aircraft ideally suited for accessing remote destinations in East and Southern Africa.
