Overview

Destinations:

Experience Greece’s Peloponnese aboard the 50-Cabin luxury mega-yacht Emerald Azzurra. The program begins with an overnight stay at the Athens Capital Hotel - MGallery Collection, ideally located on Syntagma Square. Following a morning of optional activities and a traditional Greek lunch at one of Athens’ top restaurants, participants will embark the Emerald Azzurra in Piraeus for a 7-night private charter. The ship’s intimate size and speed allows access to smaller harbors, relaxed excursions ashore, and a full circumnavigation of the Peloponnese, concluding with a transit of the Corinth Canal back to Athens. For those wishing to extend their stay, a two-night optional pre-tour in Athens is available.

As the “cradle of Western civilization,” Greece and the Peloponnese Peninsula offer an exceptional mix of history, diverse cultural legacies, natural beauty, and an extraordinary collection of World Heritage Sites. This itinerary includes five UNESCO treasures with stops at Mycenae, whose ruins yielded the Mask of Agamemnon; the theater at Epidaurus; the fortified Byzantine settlement of Mystras; ancient Olympia, site of the original Olympic Games, and Delphi, the most important shrine in ancient Greece. Along the way, visit Nestor’s Palace, the best preserved Bronze Age palace on the mainland, cruise through the Diros Caves, enjoy time in the beautiful seaside towns of Nafplion, Gythio, and Pylos and take advantage of the ship’s amenities.
